in the western world's steel industry. HSI, along with its tried and tested European
partners, will however, weather this economic storm and continue to

In the long and distant past, European steel manufacturers used to supply what the client wanted - this
regrettably, is no longer the case. Most of the Euro mills,
do not wish to roll R S Joists because of the
outdated method of manufacture.
Fortunately, we can still obtain some of these sections from our US steel mills who apparently
care more about
their clients and less about subsidies....................
HSI now stocks the following hot-rolled steel joists -- frequently used in your industry as overhead
conveyor
beams. Dimensions similar to
American Standard I-Shapes (ASTM A 6/A 6M "S"
Shapes), imperial
sizes.
Steel Grades acc to: ASTM A572 /A 572M - 99a Grade 50
and SAE 1045
